This custom garage is located in the Historic District and required an 8/12 pitch. This pitch allowed for attic style trusses to be used providing a lot of additional light storage without excessive additional costs. The attic access is a hinged staircase that is raised and lowered with a hand winch. Since this building encroached on the setbacks, a variance had to be approved by the City Commission. This required considerable additional time during the planning stages.
